SILENT RETREATS

Time in retreat allows us to leave behind the complexity of our lives, and step into simplicity, which allows us to listen deeply to our body, heart, and mind. We offer practical instruction and group support for discovering inner peace, and having insights which brings us closer to experience freedom from suffering. You will receive detailed, practical instruction on mindfulness meditation and mindful living. Our retreats combine silence, slowness, stillness, solitude, and simplicity which allow us to experience spaciousness, serenity, selflessness, surrender, and the desire to be of service. You will have plenty of time for silent meditation and to experience deep communion with nature. Most of our retreats are suitable for both new and more experienced meditation practitioners.

IN-PERSON RETREATS

Dive deep into the world of mindfulness with a day of practice, where you’ll learn to connect with peace and clarity of mind and heart. This is a great opportunity to learn about mindfulness meditation and mindful living. I teach how to practice properly and answer questions. I sometimes call it “A Day of All Things Mindfulness.” It has proven to be a great way to clarify misunderstandings which allows participants to feel more confident and energized to continue a regular mindfulness practice that is so necessary and beneficial.

Both the 3-day and 5-day retreat qualify as one of the prerequisites for MBSR, MBCT, MBRPT, and Mindful Self-Compassion Mindfulness Teacher Training.

Each day there will be lectures, some light guided instruction, gentle mindful movement, teacher support meetings, and plenty of silent time to practice loving-kindness, self-compassion, and mindfulness meditation through seated, walking, and eating practices. For all participants the price includes meals (all food is vegetarian), teachings, guidance, support meetings, yoga, sound healing, and more. Pricing does not include payment for the teachers. Participants are invited to support the teachers with dana (donation/generosity) at the end of the retreat.
