Every now and then I remember that peace comes from silence. We should all cultivate healthy periods of silence and solitude in our lives. Great discoveries and insights come from these moments. And I believe the world would be a lot better if we all unplugged for a while. Mother Teresa’s recipe for peace is five lines long. Guess what? It starts with silence.
The fruit of silence is prayer.
The fruit of prayer is faith.
The fruit of faith is love.
The fruit of love is service.
The fruit of service is peace.
~ Mother Teresa
Think about it. Think about how your life would be with more silence in it.
Just do it!
