To live lives that uphold the well-being of others is one of the noblest things we can do, and to do it properly we must constantly work on our own selves. Let us cultivate peace and love in our inner garden, the garden of our hearts. Let us, intentionally, be presences of love and bringers of peace to all the people we meet and all the places we go. Let us radiate peace, and shower all people with love, knowing, as Meher Baba said, that “love cannot be forced upon anybody, yet it can be awakened in one through love itself.” Let us be fully present and give all people our undivided attention and compassion. Then we will be the healers that the world needs. Then we will be real blessings to others, and people will naturally gravitate toward us, to grow in love, and to become spreaders of love themselves.
Love spreads spontaneously. Love brings about love. In any environment, the mere presence of a loving person expands the number of individuals who respond with love.
