21 Days Peaceful Ways Gentle Journey – Day 14

Good morning,

Today is Day 14 of the 21 Days Gentle Journey.

Today I am inviting you to reflect on the art of allowing.

The idea is that you don’t have to do anything. You don’t have work hard. You don’t have to add anything. You don’t have to learn. You don’t have to struggle to change. What you have to do is to remove all that prevents you from being you. Your job is to allow the magnificent being that you are, that being that resides within you, to come to light. Your job is to remove, not add.

Do you get this? There is no hard work involved. You just have to be gentle with yourself and allow what is already there to emerge.

I again invite you to visit that sacred place deep inside yourself, that place of quiet and stillness, that place of silence and rest, and listen what the Universe wants from you and has reserved for you. Listen.

Now, let’s start this day with gentleness, gratitude, a disposition to release what is holding us back, and a commitment to allow our highest selves to come to light, just as we did yesterday. Let us make of this a healthy habit.

So here are some affirmations for today, but before reciting them, you know what to do: sit down, close your eyes for a few moments, breathe in and out gently, and go to the center of your being. Once you experience that soothing peace within, say to yourself with conviction and firm commitment:

  • Just for today, I will allow my true self to come to light.
  • Just for today, I will reflect on “Who am I? What do I love? How do I live knowing that I will die? What is my gift to the family of the Earth?”
  • Just for today, I will remember who I am and what I am here to do.
  • Just for today, I will do what I know I am being called to do.
  • Just for today, I will allow my true self to come to light.
  • … and I will do all this while being extremely gentle with myself.

Enjoy your gentle journey along peaceful ways!
