21 Days Peaceful Ways Gentle Journey – Conclusion

Good morning,

I am returning today to say thank you again, and to give you, who have been with me on this Gentle Journey, a special gift.

My gift is to assure you, one more time, that you are special, unique and magnificent, and that you are loved.

So much pain in the world stems from the fact that many of us are incapable of loving ourselves. Due to the sad experiences we went through during our formative years — those times when we were criticized and humiliated — many of us grew up feeling unworthy, undeserving and insecure. Now, we find ourselves constantly craving the approval of others. We grew up in an environment of competition and conditional love; that’s all we ever knew. Love and approval was granted to us only if our performance and behavior pleased someone else. Sadly, we grew up to be the harshest critics of our own selves. We can’t find solace and rest since, no matter how good we may be, no matter how wonderful our accomplishments may be, we are never satisfied with ourselves; in our own eyes our performance and behavior is never good enough. We don’t celebrate the much that is right; we find fault and put ourselves down for the little that may be wrong. Believing what we were told, that loving ourselves is a selfish expression of vanity, we go though life keeping our focus on what is wrong, and not with what is right. As a result, we don’t love ourselves, and distrust the love others give us; we don’t accept love.

Well, I am here to tell you that you are loved. I am here to tell you that you should… no, that you must love yourself, and that the world loves you when you love yourself. Loving yourself is not selfish; it builds you up and allows you to give the gifts that only you can give to humanity.

So, here are the JFT promises that I would like you to make and keep. Remember that they are my special gifts to you, so, please, treat them carefully. Before reciting them, you know what to do: close your eyes for a few moments, breathe in and out gently, and go to the center of your being. Once you experience that soothing peace within, say to yourself with conviction and firm commitment the promises that you will be keeping today, and let a big smile decorate your face.

  1. Just for today, I will love myself unconditionally.
  2. Just for today, I will be my own best friend.
  3. Just for today, I will be my fiercest and most ardent protector.
  4. Just for today, I will not allow others to put me down.
  5. Just for today, I will not allow someone else’s disapproval to discourage me.
  6. Just for today, I will be my most enthusiastic cheerleader.
  7. Just for today, I will be my grandest admirer.
  8. Just for today, I will feel special, unique and magnificent.
  9. Just for today, I will feel completely secure and absolutely convinced of my immense worth.
  10. Just for today, I will not let anyone steal my joy.
  11. Just for today, I will be in charge of the way I feel.
  12. Just for today, I will choose to feel great every moment of this day.
  13. Just for today, I will allow the Life Force Energy to flow freely through me.
  14. Just for today, I will shine my light and my love outwards as a gift to the world.
  15. Just for today, knowing my purpose, I will live an authentic life, being who I am and doing what I was brought here to do.
  16. Just for today, I will rejoice in loving myself completely.
  17. Just for today, I will treat myself amazingly well, and I will see others also treating me  superbly well because they will learn how to treat me from observing how I treat myself.
  18. Just for today, I will not forsake myself.
  19. Just for today, I will totally embrace the knowing that I am loved.
  20. Just for today, I will not dwell in criticizing, judging and condemning myself.
  21. Just for today, I will do things that I love, those things that are fun and bring me joy.
  22. Just for today, I will see myself as a gift to the Universe, and I will give the gifts that I was brought here to give.

I again invite you to visit that sacred place deep within yourself, that place of quiet and stillness, that place of silence and rest, and listen what the Universe wants from you and has reserved for you. I want you to feel how special, unique and magnificent you are. I want you to feel loved. I want you to know that you are loved.

Good morning,

Congratulations on completing the Gentle Journey. Today is Day 21, the final day of the 21 Days Gentle Journey. It has been an honor to have you with me on this journey.

Today, I am providing you with a series of JFT Commitments, the little and not so little promises you make to yourself with the intention of keeping them for the day. What follows is quite an extensive list so, for now, you may want to continue focusing on a just a few JFT Promises per day, as we have been doing. Feel free to pick and choose from the list, knowing that one day you will be keeping all these promises naturally and effortlessly. Do not rush. Remember that one of the pillars of the Peaceful Ways method is gentleness with oneself, so be gentle with yourself.

Here are the JFT Promises:

  1. Just for today, I will be grateful.
  2. Just for today, I will not worry.
  3. Just for today, I will not get angry.
  4. Just for today, I will be honest and authentic.
  5. Just for today, I will be kind.

  16. Just for today, I will remember who I am and what I am here to do.
  17. Just for today, I will allow my true self to come to light.
  18. Just for today, I will accept my “Call to Adventure” and live out my “Hero’s Journey.”
  19. Just for today, I will follow my bliss.
  20. Just for today, I will remove self-imposed obstacles and allow Energy to flow freely through me.
  21. Just for today, I will release the things that hold me back and do not serve the Highest Good.
  22. Just for today, I will keep the JFT Promises I make.
  23. Just for today, I will take charge of the space between stimulus and response and choose healthy responses.
  24. Just for today, I will “get out of the way,” and allow the Forces of the Universe to work in me and through me.
  25. Just for today, I will be the change I want to see in the world.

21 Days Peaceful Ways Gentle Journey – Day 20

Good morning,

Today is Day 20 of the 21 Days Gentle Journey.

Today, I invite you to take some time aside to review and evaluate your progress on this Gentle Journey.

So, prepare yourself, and give yourself enough time to go through each one of the following questions calmly.

Go to a place where you can be on your own, without distractions.

Begin by going to the center of your being.

Take your time to ponder before responding the questions. Do not rush. Remember that one of the pillars of the Peaceful Ways method is gentleness with oneself, so be gentle with yourself.

Get a notepad to write down your insights.

Be grateful that the Forces of the Universe have brought you to this Gentle Journey. There is a higher reason for you to be walking along these Peaceful Ways.

Praise yourself for the improvements you have made so far.

If some answers are not what you wished, simply make a note to keep working on those areas that need improvement. That’s all. Do not, and I repeat, do not beat yourself down. Avoid criticizing, judging and condemning your own self. Stay on the Gentle Journey and enjoy the Peaceful Ways.

Here are the questions:

  1. Have you been gentle with yourself?
  2. Have you been giving yourself moments of rest?
  3. Have you been meditating?
  4. Have you been going to the center of your being and asking fundamental questions such as, “Who am I? What do I love? How do I live knowing that I will die? What are my gifts for the family of the Earth?”
  5. Have you been pondering also on the questions, “Who am I not? How do I live knowing that I will never die?”
  6. Have you been able to bring the practice of meditation – acknowledging and releasing thoughts and emotions — to other moments of your life, those moments when you are not ‘formally’ meditating?
  7. Have you been practicing Mindfulness? Have you been living mindfully?
  8. Have you been awake, aware and alert?
  9. Have you been able to be in the here-now, in the zone, lost in the present moment, without thinking of other things?
  10. Have you been expressing gratitude often, throughout the day?
  11. Have you been visualizing?
  12. Have you remembered to check your feelings before asking, and have you been asking what you want in this life from a place of power, knowing and peace and not from a place of lack and need?
  13. Are you reviewing your life goals and practicing creative visualization before going to sleep and as soon as you wake up?
  14. Are you visualizing as if you have already accomplished what you desire and feeling how good it feels?
  15. Have you been developing trust in the Universe and the knowing that you will get all you want or something even better?
  16. Have you written your own positive affirmations and have you been reciting them often, several times during the day?
  17. Have you been asking, “What makes me come alive?”
  18. Have you been introducing the things that make you come alive in your days?
  19. Have you been able to fill your days with feel-good moments, with those things that make you joyful?
  20. Are you doing what you like? Are you liking what you do?
  21. Have you been practicing not to worry?
  22. Have you been practicing not to criticize, judge and condemn others and your own self?
  23. Have you been practicing not to harbor any ill feelings toward others and your own self?
  24. Have you been honest in all your dealings?
  25. Have you been honest with yourself?
  26. Have you been authentic?
  27. Have you remembered who you are and what you are here to do?
  28. Have you been allowing your true self to come to light?
  29. Have you accepted your “Call to Adventure” and are you living out your “Hero’s Journey?”
  30. Have you been following your bliss?
  31. Have you been removing the self-imposed obstacles and allowing Energy to flow freely through you?
  32. Are you working to release the things that hold you back, those things that do not serve the Highest Good?
  33. Have you been working on changing bad habits?
  34. Are you practicing the JFT technique? Are you making and keeping the promises you make for yourself? Are you making and keeping your “Just For Today” commitments?
  35. Have you been in control of your responses? Are you in charge of the space between stimulus and response? Have you been able to choose healthy responses?
  36. Have you been able to “get out of the way,” and allow the Forces of the Universe to work in you and through you?
  37. Have you been exercising kindness, patience, generosity, compassion, love and forgiveness?
  38. Are you the change you want to see in the world?

Practice. Be gentle with yourself.

21 Days Peaceful Ways Gentle Journey – Day 19

Good morning,

Today is Day 19 of the 21 Days Gentle Journey.

Today, I would like to invite you to think about changing bad habits.

Begin by going to the center of your being and calmly identifying those things that you habitually do and that you know are not good for you. Think about those things that you would like to change, those things you would like to remove from your life. Imagine how much better your life would be if you didn’t repeat those behaviors. Once you have done that, choose one behavior to work with. Analyze and identify the circumstances that triggers it. Ask yourself, What is it? When does it happen? Where does it happen? Why does it happen? Who, if anyone else, is present when it happens? How does it take place?

Once you have reached a clear picture of this self-harming behavior, put together a strategy to face the challenge. Decide how you are going to respond once the impulse kicks in. Visualize and alternative course of action. Have a plan in place to implement at the right time. Create a mental picture. Visualize yourself taking your time and choosing healthy responses. Remember what Viktor E. Frankl said: “Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.” See yourself powerfully in charge of what happens in that space between stimulus and response. And create positive affirmations that will empower you to make the right choices.

There’s a very simple and effective practice to change habits and make improvements in life that I learned from Stephen R. Covey, the author of The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. In order to move ahead and get rid of the things that are holding us back, we just have to make promises to ourselves, and keep them. Begin with a small, little promise. Make it and keep it. Then, make another little promise and keep it. Make it and keep it.

It is important to be honest with oneself and to maintain integrity in the moment of choice. Your word is sacred. Your word is your most valuable asset. Give your word that you will eliminate the bad behavior, and keep your word. Live by your word. Keep your promises. Move on gently, one step at a time. Resist one impulse at a time. And each victory will make you stronger. Soon you will be taking in bigger and bigger challenges, and prevailing.

And when you fail in keeping your promise, don’t beat yourself down. Remember that one of the pillars of the Peaceful Ways method is gentleness with oneself. So be gentle with yourself. When you are unable to keep the promise you made — when you give in and repeat a self-harming behavior, for instance — acknowledge that you were not able to control the impulse this time, and simply recommit to resist it next time. The sole fact that you are able to reflect on the behavior is an improvement in itself already. So, don’t beat yourself down. Don’t deem yourself weak and unworthy. Bring creative visualization, positive affirmation, and promise keeping into the picture again, and know that you are on the right path to create an extraordinary life.

You are strong and worthy. You can do it.

21 Days Peaceful Ways Gentle Journey – Day 18

Good morning,

Today is Day 18 of the 21 Days Gentle Journey.

Today, I would like to invite you to look at the pursuit of manifesting your desires through other lenses. It may sound contradictory, but I invite you to not take your desires too seriously. I invite you to relax and allow life to unfold freely.

Yes, as I told you, remember who you are and what you are here to do. Yes, go ahead and visualize your ideal life. Yes, put yourself in motion to remove the obstacles and allow your best self to come out. But, after all that, simply get out of the way. Trust that the Divine Intelligence knows more than you do. Trust that it not only knows what you want but also what is right for you.

So, don’t obsess with achieving what you have originally imagined, and don’t get disappointed if you don’t produce the desired results. Detach from the most wanted outcomes and accept whatever may be coming to you. In other words, surrender. If results don’t seem to be what you expected, trust that much better things are on their way and they will arrive at the right time.

Once you stop obsessing with achieving exactly what you had imagined, within the time frame you had imagined, you become more flexible. Once you trust that the Cosmic Intelligence is operating to produce the best possible outcomes, you become much more secure. Knowing that, you start to operate with more joy, flexibility, confidence and optimism, and by doing so you automatically start producing better results. By being more relaxed, carefree and happy, you spontaneously attract the people, resources and circumstances you need to manifest your dreams.

So, detach from imagined outcomes, trust the Universe, and do what you are called to do the best way you can, without constantly judging and evaluating results. Remember that you asked the Universe to give you what you want,or something better. So, surrender, relax, smile, trust, and see amazing things and extraordinary events, much better than you could have ever imagined, happening in your life.

Good morning,

Today is Day 17 of the 21 Days Gentle Journey.

Today I invite you to reflect about the “right” desires. We should consider that there are different types of desires: some reflect what we want to get and have, such as a bigger house or a new car, while others express the impetus to manifest our highest selves. The latter are the desires we should focus our attention on: the ones that arise from the core and call us to remove the self-imposed obstacles in order to allow our true selves to come to light. These are desires of being and becoming and not so much desires of getting and having.

Why is it important to be authentic, be who we really are? I leave you with these words from Jesus in the Gospel of Thomas:“If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.”

Good morning,

Today is Day 16 of the 21 Days Gentle Journey.

Today I invite you to reflect about death, not the physical, but the death of an old life that has played itself out and has no reason for existing anymore.

Think about this kind of death as the prerequisite for change, transformation, resurrection, rebirth.

Maybe you have been clinging to an old life that has played itself out. Well, maybe the time has come to let it go. Let go of the things that have been holding you back, and go follow your bliss. Go do that thing that you know you cannot not do. Trust the impetus inside you. Heed the calling. Have the courage to do what you are being called to do in spite of fear of failure, fear of criticism, fear of being rejected, and all other fears. Accept the opportunity to be born again in a new life, a life you love.

Just do it!

In the end, when you will look back at your life, what you will regret most is not having answered the calls of life. In the end you will regret not having taken the risks to live the life you were called to live.

21 Days Peaceful Ways Gentle Journey – Day 15

Good morning,

Today is Day 15 of the 21 Days Gentle Journey.

Have you noticed…

… that we are ‘sleepwalking’ most of the time?

… that we are unaware of what is going on in the present moment?

… that we go through the majority of our lives in auto-pilot?

… that we live mindlessly?

Well, I invite you to wake up from your sleep and live mindfully.

Mindfulness is the art of paying attention to what is happening in the present moment, on purpose, without judging. Mindfulness is the art of cultivating moment-to-moment awareness, every moment. Mindfulness is the art of observing while staying put as the one who observes. Mindfulness is the art of bringing the practice of acknowledging and releasing that we use in our moments of formal meditation to all other moments of our lives.

The disciple asks his master, “Master, how can you stay so peaceful all day long?”

The master answers, “I never leave my place of meditation.”

I invite you to never leave your place of meditation. Take it with you wherever you go. Live in mindfulness. Acknowledge your thoughts and emotions and release them.

Here are some practices that will help you live mindfully:

  • Be patient. Do not rush. Be gentle with yourself.
  • Stay open to learn as if you didn’t know anything. Be like a child and approach every moment with freshness, as if this moment is an entirely new moment, and you have never lived anything similar before.
  • Do not strive. Do not work hard. Do not try to accomplish anything. There’s no place to go, and nothing to do, or attain. Just be here, now. Think: what is the purpose of getting here and then wanting to be somewhere else?
  • Do not add living mindfully as one more thing to do, one more thing to add to your already lengthy to-do list. Living mindfully is not a duty or another chore. Living mindfully is the expression of being gentle with yourself.
  • Do not judge. Accept things as they are. Let go. Don’t get attached to anything. Don’t get attached to your ideas of how things should be.Let things be as they are. Stop wishing for reality to be different. And after accepting reality as it is, choose the proper course of action.

I again invite you to visit that sacred place deep inside yourself, that place of quiet and stillness, that place of silence and rest, and listen what the Universe wants from you and has reserved for you. Listen.

The idea is that you don’t have to do anything. You don’t have work hard. You don’t have to add anything. You don’t have to learn. You don’t have to struggle to change. What you have to do is to remove all that prevents you from being you. Your job is to allow the magnificent being that you are, that being that resides within you, to come to light. Your job is to remove, not add.

Good morning,

Today is Day 12 of the 21 Days Gentle Journey.

Today I am inviting you to reflect again on the power of attention in connection with living an authentic life.

We know that we attract to our lives what we most think and feel. Thoughts become things. Like attracts like. What we focus on is what we receive. What we focus on expands. We attract what we think most. We attract what we put our attention on.

I invite you to visit that deep, sacred place inside yourself, that place of quiet and stillness, that place of silence and rest, and listen what the Universe wants from you and has reserved for you. Listen. What you are meant to be and do will be revealed to you. Once this has been revealed, you have a choice: you can accept your call to adventure and launch yourself on your hero’s journey, or refuse it.

You know that accepting the call is the right thing to do, the best decision you will ever make in your entire life.

Imagine the grandest version of yourself doing what you have been called to do. Put yourself in motion to be and do what your heart is telling you. Focus on manifesting your true, authentic self, the magnificent being you know you came here to be.

I encourage you to practice, over and over again, to put your attention on the “splendid you” that you are called to manifest. Many times during the day bring to your mind the image of yourself being your best self, doing what you do best, loving what you do, and blessing the world with it. Bring this image to your conscious mind and feel how good it feels. And do it as often as possible. That’s where your focus should always be. Do this and be prepared for manifesting something much bigger than anything you ever imagined for yourself.

Have an as-clear-as-possible vision of your best self. Don’t come up with any excuses for your true self not coming true. Feel how good it feels to be your best self. Believe that manifesting this magnificent being will be good to you and to the world, and will not harm anyone. Don’t worry about the ‘how,’ how your vision will become reality; this is in the hands of the Universe. Feel confident that magic helpers will come to help you manifest your highest self once you put yourself in motion to live your hero’s journey. Now, detach from the results and be ready to accept whatever the Universe brings you.

Doing all this will bring a sense of meaning and fulfillment to your existence that is priceless, and will bless you with goodness and abundance.

Remember, “I attract what I put my attention on. My attention attracts my desires.”

21 Days Peaceful Ways Gentle Journey – Day 10

Good morning,

Today is Day 10 of the 21 Days Gentle Journey.

Yesterday, I put out a warning, “Choose carefully what you will give your attention to. Give your attention to what you want. Do not give your attention to what you do not want. Check your feelings carefully. When you focus on what you don’t have and want, you may inadvertently be focusing on what is missing in your life, and this may carry with it a feeling of lack. Well, you don’t want to experience a feeling of insufficiency; you want to experience a feeling of abundance. Imagine your ideal life, but do not focus on how your present situation differs from your ideal life. Feel as if you have already accomplished your goals. Feel that you are whole, perfect and complete. Feel how proud you are of the masterpiece you have created: you and your wonderful life. Imagine your true, authentic self and focus more on who you are called to be and do and not so much on what you want to possess.”

Well, let’s revisit this one more time, because this is extremely important.

Before you start your meditation and creative visualization practices, I urge you to make an effort to become deeply aware of your feelings. Sometimes, during your practice of meditation and creative visualization you may experience doubt and fear. Suddenly, while imagining your ideal life, you may realize the gap between where you are now and where you want to be, and you may be invaded by doubt and fear. Unintentionally, you may put your attention on what is lacking in your life. Thoughts that you will never get what you want, that obstacles are too numerous and insurmountable, may cross your mind and with that fear and despair may emerge. This takes you away from the good feelings you are supposed to feel during the practice, and may lead you to the emotional doldrums where you become discouraged. You don’t want that.

What should you do when this happens? Stop and realize that you are in a dangerous place and that you must move from where you are, a place of need, where you feel lack and scarcity, to a place of power, where you experience feelings of abundance.

There is a clear difference between asking from a place of need and asking from a place of power. You must be aware of this difference since it affects the outcomes of your asking. Don’t visualize from a place of weakness; visualize from a place of strength. And how do you know the difference? Well, you are in a place of weakness if you are focusing on lack, on scarcity, on envy, on what you don’t have, on what is missing, on the fear of not having enough, on the feeling that you are not good enough, that you don’t deserve and will never achieve the success you want. This is a dangerous place from where to visualize. Leave this place of need and go to a place of plenty.

Don’t focus on what is missing in your life. Focus on the much you already have. Look back at the much that has been given to you already throughout your life. Begin by expressing gratitude. Say to yourself, “I have always lived a privileged life!”

That’s where all healthy visualizations should start: with a sense that no matter what may happen, you will always be safe, you will always be taken good care of. A place of power infuses you with the conviction that you are safe and always will be, that everything is and will always be OK. How do you get to this place of power? By focusing on your true self. That’s where your thoughts and feelings should be. Imagine yourself being your most successful self, doing what you like, liking what you do, and blessing the world with your gifts. When you stand firmly on this ground of power, you will feel powerful, safe and worry-free. Then you are ready to practice creative visualization.

Focus on manifesting your true self, and not on desiring possessions and temporary pleasures. Focus on “being,” and not so much on “getting,” because in order for you to be happy, maybe you really don’t need what you think you need. Maybe what you really need is to reduce your the clutter created by too many possessions. Maybe what you really need is to simplify your life. What makes you happy are not your possessions. What makes you truly happy is being who you are meant to be, and doing what you are meant to do.

Remember that your desiring must be rooted in your true self, so focus on who you came here, to this world, to be and do.

Now imagine you already being who you truly are and doing what you really are meant to do. Imagine yourself doing what you like and being the grandest version of yourself. See yourself blessing the world with your authentic presence. Feel it. Feel how good it feels. Feel how happy you are. Feel how powerful you feel. And feel that you deserve the success that you have attained and the rewards that came with it. That’s where your visualization should be rooted.

Practice to be grateful and worry-free. Say to yourself:

  • Just for today, I will be grateful.
  • Just for today, I will be fearless.

Today I invite you to reflect upon desires and creative visualization. The process of using creative visualization to manifest wishes is quite simple, but it can be easily misapplied.

Our thoughts create our reality. Thoughts bring about things. Just look around. Everything that was created by men was first imagined. If you want to create a better life, you have to imagine it, dream it, visualize it, and feel it… vividly.

Images are powerful. What you visualize materializes. What you visualize you attract. Think of yourself as a magnet that attracts what you visualize. You attract to your life those things and situations you think about the most, the ones you energize with feelings and emotions. You become what you think about the most. Thoughts become things.

That’s why we must be careful with our thoughts because as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. Good thoughts will manifest good things while negative thoughts will bring about the inverse. We are the ones who, through our worries and fears, attract what we don’t want to our lives. Move your focus away from what you don’t want — the things you want to avoid, the things you don’t want to happen, the things you worry about, the things you are afraid of — to all the good things and situations you want in your life. That’s where your focus should be. The more you populate your days with good thoughts, with gratitude, the more you will attract positive individuals, events and circumstances into your life. Remember that our minds shape our realities.

Make wise choices. Choose carefully what you will give your attention to. Give your attention to what you want. Do not give your attention to what you do not want. Check your feelings carefully. When you focus on what you don’t have and want, you may inadvertently be focusing on what is missing in your life, and this may carry with it a feeling of lack. Good morning,

Today is Day 8 of the 21 Days Gentle Journey.

Today we will talk about prime moments for creative visualization. The moments you are falling asleep and waking up are precious because your mind is in a very receptive state. Use these moments wisely. Don’t bring any negative feelings to these moments. Use these moments to vividly visualize your best life.

In those precious moments see yourself giving and receiving love. See yourself and those around you full of joy. Feel yourself experiencing peace, and bringing peace to all around you. See yourself being patient in all situations, exercising self-control, being gentle and kind.

Now, please, stop and visualize all this again, one more time, only deeper and with more conviction this time.

21 Days Peaceful Ways Gentle Journey – Day 7

Good morning,

Today is Day 7 of the 21 Days Gentle Journey.

It’s time to meditate on the 4 fundamental questions presented by Wayne Muller in his book, How Then, Shall We Live? Four Simple Questions that Reveal the Beauty and Meaning of Our Lives.

Take your time and reflect…

1. Who am I?
2. What do I love?
3. How do I live knowing that I will die?
4. What is my gift to the family of the Earth?

Through these simple questions you see the preciousness of your human life, and the unique gifts you have to offer the world. When you meditate upon these questions, you figure out who you really are and who you want to be. You realize that you are not your body. You realize that you have inhabited many different bodies already; do you remember that once you were a newborn, a toddler, a child, a teenager,…? You are not your body. You are not your past. You are not the history you have created that you call your life. You are not the many roles you have in life. You are not your professional persona, or the many personas you have created to be accepted in different groups you travel through your life. Maybe, as Teilhard de Chardin once said, “we are not human beings having spiritual experiences, but spiritual beings having human experiences.”

When you think about who you really are, you awaken in you the courage and wisdom that allow you to break free and go beyond what you once considered possible.

Who am I? What is the purpose for my existence? What is calling me? What does God want from me?

The truth is that if you do not pursue your highest calling, you will never be completely happy. So take your time to find out what your mission in life is, and set goals that are in accordance.

We all have questions about where we are headed, and what our purpose in life is. Let us be gentle and create spaces for the answers to emerge. Meditation assists us in clearing the channels that allow us to listen to the answers coming from within. It also helps us be more attentive and receptive to the guidance that comes from without.

Now, if you don’t yet have it clear what your purpose in life is, go with your intuition. What is your gut telling you now? What do you want for your life in the upcoming year? Think about your body, your mind, your heart and your soul. What do you want for you in the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual realms? What are your professional and financial aspirations? What kind of relationships are you seeking? How do you want to live? Where? What do you want to do? What do you want to have? Who do you want to share your experiences with? You may want a new car, a new job, or a partner who loves and cares for you. Whatever you want is OK. At this stage, don’t judge your desire. Feel free to write down what you want.

Good morning,

Today is Day 6 of the 21 Days Gentle Journey.

Let us reflect today on the art of allowing. To allow is to accept what the Infinite Intelligence is giving us. To allow is to surrender and not fight against what the Universe is sending us. To allow is to accept and remain open. We may ask for the pain in our lives to go away, but maybe pain is what we need on our journey of healing. Many times we ask for things that we don’t need, things that do not serve the Highest Good. Let us surrender and accept what is given to us. Let us believe that the Universe always send us what we need. Let us trust that the infinite Intelligence knows. Let us consider that we get to the ultimate stage of serenity when we don’t want and don’t ask; we just allow.

P.S. I consider myself an artist and my life to be my masterpiece. I am mastering the art of allowing the most beautiful expression of myself to come to light. I am practicing the art of consciously removing blocks that prevent the free flow of energy through me.   • Just for today, I will choose not to tell the story of my wounds any longer. I will choose to see myself as a hero, not a victim, and that is the story I choose to tell.

Now let us bring “allowing” into our day. Here are the affirmations. Again, center yourself first and them visualize them with conviction.

  • Just for today, I will stop putting obstacles and preventing my highest self to emerge.
  • Just for today, I will remove my doubts, fears and self-imposed limitations.
  • Just for today, I will allow my grandest self to rise.
  • Just for today, I will allow myself to give the wonderful contributions to humanity that only I can give.
  • Just for today, I will allow myself to be the best that I can be.
  • Just for today, I will allow myself to enjoy a brilliant and joyful life.
  • Just for today, I will allow the Energy to flow freely through me.
  • Just for today, I will allow.

  • Just for today, I will bring this practice to other times of my day. When I catch myself gravitating away from the present moment, I will come back to the here-now.

Good morning,

Today is Day 1 of the 21 Days Peaceful Ways Gentle Journey.

I am beginning my day expressing gratitude. I want to thank you for coming to my workshop and spending time with me. I am grateful that you have decided to invest in yourself and your development. I am thrilled that you will apply what you have learned to better your life. When you do this, you make the world better, not only for yourself, but for everyone.So I thank you for making my world better.

Now, I want you to remember that two of the pillars of the Peaceful Ways Method are to be gentle with yourself and give yourself some rest. So, here are today’s affirmations:

  • Just for today, I will be gentle with myself.
  • Just for today, I will give myself some rest.
  • Just for today, I will not rush.
  • Just for today, I will not “get up, get ready, get dressed, and get going.”
  • Just for today, I will wake up and take my time to gently practice what I have learned.
  • Just for today, I will create moments of calm for myself and enjoy them.
  • Just for today, remembering that everything begins with gratitude, I will take time to give thanks.
